hi everyone, i can tseem to get the search on the site to work- must be due to the current maintenence. i am currently looking for ideas for my birthday cake (in 22days) -yes i still have to make my own! lol icon_rolleyes.gif anyhow i think ihave finally decided to make myself a chocolate box cake. (as i am a chocoholic) i have seen some fantastic ones and i am confident with all aspects but slightly unsure on how to go about making the lid in the best way? any help at all would be fantastic!

hi texas, the structure really, how does it stay so ridged? whats the best way to do it? is it a cake board covered in fondant? pastillage(sp) ? or just fondant strengthened with tylo? or something else entirly??
