Sylvia Weinstock's classic yellow cake is my "go to," It always turns out amazing and I get rave reviews. That being said I have always baked it in my round pans with no issues. I am making a cake for a friend and would like to use Sylvia's recipe but am not sure it will work in a 13x9 rectangular pan.
Has anyone ever attempted this....with success??
I have done it with no problems at all. It still comes out great.
Yes, this past weekend I doubled the recipe and baked in my 11x15.
