My grandmother has a bunco party coming up. Her theme will be a renaissance fair. I thought I might offer to make her a themed cake but I'm not exactly sure what to do! I'm not really familiar with this area. Any suggestions??

I looked in the galleries here for "renaissance" and wasn't terribly inspired by anything that came up.

The Mona Lisa is the first thing that comes to mind....You could do a FBCT. Or a medieval castle or a knight/horse.
Or here's a cool cake I found online (do a smaller version of this):
Please post pics after!

Try searching Google Images for "renaissance fair" (or faire). You might get some ideas. I saw a cute picture of a jousting match (horses, lances, many colors).

Some celtic knots or scroll work would be really pretty icon_smile.gif
