Can anyone help, im doing a 4 tier wedding cake which has 2 big sugar paste bows on it, which the ends coming down the sides. Im worried how to transport these bows and stop them from breaking and sticking them to the cake when it gets to the venue??
It all depends if your delivering the cake stacked or transporting the tiers in separate boxes. Your best bet is to stack the cake at the venue and attach the bows with royal icing. Transport the bows in a separate box. If you want the bows to be a little flexible so they can hang over you should consider using fondant. HTH
Thankyou for your help, im taking the cakes in seperate boxes. Ive decided to make the bows and put them in a box then make the part that hangs down when i get to the venue.
