I have this 8 inch square cake sitting here. It was left over batter and I just threw it in the pan and baked it. But not sure what to do with it and I've been wanting to try mini cakes. From what I read on here, I'll either be successful and screaming "I'm King of the World", or I'll be huddled in the corner crying and shuddering in about 15 minutes. We shall see. LOL!

Best of luck, Nazarine. They can be a lot of fun to do. But I think they're a lot more fun if you don't have an order for 50 or 60 that you suddenly realized you totally underpriced because you had no idea how much work they would be - hahaha!

Well, I only got one decorated before my 4 year old woke up from a nightmare. By the time I got her settled again, I just called it a night because it was late. But I'm going to continue the experiment because they were a lot of fun! I couldn't imagine having to make large quantities of them though. They are very time consuming.
