Hello CC ppls.

I am currently trying to figure out how create my own flavors.

One would be a Mango Cupcake & Another would be Strawberry Guava cupcake.

For my Mango Recipe, I would be using fresh ripe Fruits & for my Strawberry Guava, I would be using a Jam to get that flavor.

Anyone know what I need to take out & add to get my cupcakes going?

Here is the basic WASC Recipe..

1 box cake mix
1 cup flour
1 cup granulated sugar
generous dash of salt
1 cup sour cream
1 cup water
3 whole eggs

for my Mango, How many cups of ripe fruit should I use & for my Strawberry Guava, how many cups should I add?

Anything I should I remove, or how about adding?

Thanks everyone in advance!

Hi, integlspwr (did I get that right?) - those flavors sound delicious. When you're using fresh fruit puree, you can substitute it for the cup of liquid. When you're using jams, I would suggest you use less (maybe sub out 1/2 cup of liquid for 1/2 cup of jam) and reduce the amount of sugar you add (not quite sure by how much - sorry!). Hope this gives you a starting point, anyway. I've made the WASC with pureed strawberries - frozen, but no sugar added - and it turned out really nice.
