Hi

I was wondering what to charge for a 9x13 BC with fondant accents? I have always made cakes for family (no charge) but have an order from1st customer.

I have no idea on this. Do I charge per slice?

Thanks so much!

Michelle

Only you know the cost of your ingredients, electricity, etc, plus the cost of renting a commercial kitchen or whatever it's cost you to build your kitchen. Also remember to include the cost of your licensing and insurance.

I'm not sure if this is true but i read somewhere that you multiply your cost of ingredients times 3 and that should be a good starting point. good luck and congrats on your first order!!
