I have been asked to do a 60th birthday cake and the birthday girl is crazy about zebras. I thought about wrapping the sides of a round cake with the Zebra Print Wilton Sugar Sheets. I have noticed that there are several of you who have used these and wanted to know your thoughts. A couple of questions in particular are how do they taste, what is the texture when eating, if I cut one sheet to wrap the cake, does the design pattern match up and is what were your obstacles when using these. I haven't used them on a cake yet, but I have tasted them. To me they have a soft vanilla taste and mostly melt in your mouth.

I had these in my hand yesterday but was wondering about the taste. I'm making a cake with a damask pattern but I don't have a stencil or cutters and this cake is basically a freebie, so I'm not jumping up and down to spend the money on a stencil right now. The sugar sheets were 25% off at Michaels yesterday!
