I have never ever ever...lol...worked with gumpaste or anything like it before. My mom's 50th birthday is coming up in October, and her favorite flower is the alstroemeria. I want to make her a cake with some of these flowers as accents on it. Please help! I am not afraid of a challenge (made my own wedding dress with little to no prior sewing experience), but I don't have a ton of free time and no supplies. I would love suggestions on the bare minimums I would need to pull this off. Thanks!

Thanks for the link! It well help a bunch. I don't want to ask a bunch of questions that have been answered a million times, but is there a post on here with the basic dos and donts of working with gumpaste? And is gumpaste the best medium to use for these flowers?

I'm really not sure if there is a specific post that has does and don'ts. I think the best thing to do is get some and start playing around with it.
