Im looking for a yellow cake recipe for the Wilton 3D teddy bear cake. I tried the ' Durable cake for 3D and Wedding cakes' on here, but i did not like it. I was thinking of trying the WASC recipe, i've tried it in regular cake pans and it was good, but i dont know if it would be dense enough. Also not sure how i would make it a yellow cake, maybe yellow boxed cake and use whole eggs?
Any suggestions ?

Use this WASC recipe it uses whole eggs and any mix you want.
And from my very limited carving experience, I would recommend carving when it is semi-frozen. It just makes it so much easier in my opinion.
Good luck and have fun.
