I am doing a wedding cake, three tier ( my first ) with white gerber daisies, ivory roses and greenery ( all made out of gumpaste ) I am also decorating the sides with small fondant lace pieces. I would like to incorporate some burgandy into the cake, but not alot. I had a couple ideas. burgandy berries through out the floral arrangements, or a small burgandy ribbon around the bottom of the tiers.

I just wondered if anyone had any other ideas or suggestions. Or if you think my ideas would look ok with my other decorations.

Thanks so much.

you could incorporate tiny burgandy flowers in with the others for a pop of color. a lot of people do the band thing, which is nice but everyone does it. can you find a burgandy dragee or some sort to add? I use colored ones a lot to spice things up. (don't look at my pictures to see this though, I haven't updated them in over a year!)
