i want to make a cake for my sons 3rd birthday, i think he would really like a toy story cake and think i can make all the characters apart from the main ones (woody, buzz and jess) anyone have any idea how i am best to design this i was thinking 2d images of the main characters on top and small fondant shapes of the other characters but not sure how this will look. i don't want to put toys on the cake i would like it to all be edible
anyone have any advice on the best way to attempt this?

If you want to keep the main characters 2D, it will probably look better to use 2D for all. Use fondant cutouts or FBCT. Maybe put Woody, Buzz and Jessie on the top, with the smaller/secondary toys around the sides of the cake.

its not that i want 2d i just don't think i would be able to do the main characters 3d. unfortunately i am such a perfectionist when it comes to these things that i can't stop until they are just like the character and i don't think this is possible for me to do
