I check in here from time to time to get answers... so i thought
I should be a member so i can post as well.
Im a 45 yr old single Mother of a 12 yr old boy.
Together we have a 24 ft mobile kitchen here in Mississippi.
We cater weddings and feed workers & bar patrons.
We are getting ready to open a resaurant... (really excited)
I had been reading up about the 10 qt V 20 qt opinions on here.
Im so glad I did... I thought a 20 qt mixer would be to big.
turns out.. its not! ( : so thank you... thumbs_up.gif

Welcome to the Forums@! Hear of Hurley MS?? Thats where I am! Just a little closer to the coast! Just north of Pascagoula icon_biggrin.gif I am in the process of opening a home bakery myself!! Under construction as we speak! I am terrified that my 3 4.5 qt and my one 6qt mixer wont be enough once I open up and start advertising! I think that will be a good problem to have and easily fixed though icon_wink.gif Find me on FB, Confections Custom Couture Cakes!!!

I LOVED all the pics on FB page... the polka dot cake with the browns and calming colors is my fav from your blog. Which butter cream recipe do you use? Everything looks so smooth. hugs, De

Moved from there in 2008. It's a nice town. I spent way too much time at McAlister's and Frog Head. Had our child at River Oaks. Lived out toward the new high school, well it was new at the time.
Very best of luck with the business!
