I know there are several post similar to this post but Im looking for a catchy name for my cake bus.... My first name is Summer so I thought that would be good to use like "Sum R Sweet" but I don't know that that name is really good since I hope they all are sweet icon_smile.gif
Any ideas.

Cute name, but I get your concern about the name. How about Summer Delights or A Taste of Summer?

Sweets by Summer?

I'd lose the Sum-R thing and keep it simple.

Summer Sweets.

Easy to remember and you could make a cute logo out of it.

or Summer's Sweet Treats

I think one of the best ways to decide on a name is to pretend you're answering the phone with it. Which one is easiest to say and sounds most professional. Remember, cute spellings don't translate to the spoken word. thumbs_up.gif

Beat me to it! I like this better than the 'R thing. Too Toys 'R Us.

I don't have any suggestions (I'm lame!) but I do have comments. I don't care for Summer Sweets. Although I like the sound of it, it makes me wonder if people will think "does she close down for the winter?" Customers won't necessarily know it's your name and may think it's just a reference to season. And my mind may be in the gutter, but every time somebody comes up with a bakery name that includes the word "dreams," I can't help but think it sounds dirty. icon_redface.gif

I agree about the Butterdreams...my mind tends to go toward the gutter on that too...! LOL!

But I wouldn't worry about people wondering whether she's a seasonal business should she choose the name Summer Sweets. It's her name combined with what she does. And her full name as owner will be on her card, her website (should she have one) along with her hours and other info that can dispel any worries on that front. Plus regular customers will know. And if there is still cause for concern she can have a tagline following-- something along the line of:
Summer Sweets,
Custom treats all year long!

Or whatever... I'm a believer in keeping it simple with the 'cute' quotient to a minimum.

Or you could just make it possessive Summer's Sweets
