All too often, I feel like I come across someone else's cake, which I felt was way under recognized. This morning I came across two.
Here's the deal, post a cake you feel was under recognized. It can't be your own cake. I know we all love to be recognized for our work, but let's pay it forward and post someone else cake we feel deserves recognition.

I love the work TamiAZ did on this cake. The color and design is awesome and a design like this can go many places, wedding, birthday, anniversary etc...
Nice job, TamiAZ

I also felt kenrisG did a good job on this wedding cake. There's a lot going on with the cake, but it takes an experienced cake decorator to have a lot going on, and not make it look too busy. I love the colors of the butterflies and the fresh flowers on the cake.
Good job, kenrisG!

Oh yeah, and don't forget to add them to your favs if you just love them!

This is a great idea! I saved this one from CakeVoodoo... I LOVE seeing all BC cakes!

I've always love Augury's halloween cake. At first glance it may seem simple but this baker completely captured the Tim Burton distinctive aesthetic...and it was done in freehand black piping. Augury humbly underestimates how really great this cake is. So many cake fall into that predictablly safe, cute and flowery arena. This cake is perfect.

What a great idea!
I don't think anyone does a buttercream sheet cake any better than Adria_NyxxTX, and she makes gorgeous buttercream flowers. She has many cakes I could add to this thread, but I'll try to contain myself. Here are a few.

I thought this display was adorable and couldn't believe I was the only one to save it. But then I can't begin to understand why some cakes get so many saves and others don't. Not that the highly saved cakes aren't good just sometimes they have been done a million times or they are SO basic like a fondant covered one tier cake with a gumpaste flower. It's beautiful but why 100 saves?!?!?! Looking through the previous posters pics I see that many of you have under recognized cakes! tokazodo I agree this is a great idea!

I thought this one was so sweet and charming. I'm waiting for an occasion to do my own version: http://cakecentral.com/gallery/2009503

poohsmomma, I love Adria_NyxxTX's cakes, too. Those buttercream flowers are incredible!
