I'm curious as to the best way to construct a birdhouse cake... I have 2 8" squares and an 8" loaf pan baked and ready to start assembling...

My question is how have you cut your squares in the past...? I want the cake to be a rectangular shaped house with a triangle roof... I plan on covering the cake in fondant...

Just not sure where to start putting it all together, and would like some input from anyone that has done a birdhouse previously... any pics would be helpful...
