Royal Icing On Chocolate

I'm thinking of promotional treats for a client and thought of doing chocolate discs with their logo on top. I want to make the logo out of royal icing , let it harden, then put it on the chocolate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to affix the icing logo on the chocolate? Would royal icing work to glue it on? I'm just not sure because people say that royal icing gets gooey when it touches chocolate.

Royal won't get gooey if the chocolate is properly tempered and it's not melted.

I strongly suggest either piping or stencilling the logo directly on the chocolates to avoid breakage.

If applying them separately, a dab of melted chocolate will work well.
