I have someone who wants to order a cake with fondant/gumpaste animals on it, I want to charge extra because I know it's going to be a lot more work but I'm not sure how much extra I should charge without going over the top. There is a rather tall giraffe with a bird sitting on it and a monkey and elephant on the sides, I normally charge $2.50 per serving for buttercream and whipped frosting cakes and $3.00 per serving for fondant covered cakes

I have been known to charge $5-10/animal depending on the other decorations on the cake, how big they are, etc. If there aren't alot of other decorations, I include them in the price.
