I posted a while back about needing help with marshmallow fondant, and you guys were so helpful!! My first step was to buy premade fondant to get the feel of what it should be like to work with. Wow. It was sooo much easier than working with the, obviously wrong, concoction I had made. So I just wanted to post what I did while practicing, keeping in mind it is only my 2nd fully decorated fondant cake
I wasn't sure what to do on the cake board, so I just put some of the extra flowers I had on there. Funniest thing was it took me the longest just getting the frosting into the center of the flowers and luster dusting them all, my hand was cramping so bad lol
My next step is to try the recipes that were recommended to me, and now that I know what fondant should feel and look like to work with - I can practice more and more without all of the frustration! So again, thank you all so much!
