I need to make a 3D frog cake for a groomscake, and have him holding a ring...any ideas????

You could start with putting "frog cake" into Google Images and see what others have done. For the ring, I think just have one arm pointed up and sandwich the ring between a thumb and finger. Yes, I realize that frogs don't have thumbs and fingers, but this isn't a real frog!
