Hi all,
I'm making cupcake favors for a friend's bridal shower in a few weeks. My plan is to bake the cupcakes the day before and then to make the frosting the morning of.
The cupcakes will be sitting out for about 4 hours or so. Can anyone recommend and frostings that can be piped and will hold up? I'm not really stuck on any particular cupcake flavor so anything goes.

Will they be indoors or setting out in the sun?

Indoors.

Most frosting should hold up for 4 hours in air conditioning.

Just avoid stabilized whip cream, everything else will be fine.
