I'd like to try buttermilk in a spice WASC. I'm doing a free wedding cake for someone so I'm trying to keep my expenses as low as possible, but still wanted to give it a homemade taste.
Has anyone used buttermilk in their WASC with successful results?
I do it everytime and love it! I replace about 1C of the water in the recipe with buttermilk, the rest is water, milk, coffee creamer, puree etc.
Yup- me too. Gives it a great flavor.
