Does anyone know a good, real good home remedy for the aggravating itch of Hives, mine are from allergies I'm told. I have never had them before and my face is all swollen, my body is covered with itchy blotches, they are driving me crazy. Please help if you can. The doctor just started me tomorrow on a steroid. But I have cake orders to do, I can't be like this for very long. Helep!!

Benadryl will help. You'll know when it wears off because the hives will come up again in different places.

Also, getting in a really hot shower for a few minutes helps...it itches like crazy because the heat makes your body release histamines, but once you get out of the shower you'll feel better for a few hours.
