I am making a Dallas Cowboys cap for my son in law's birthday and I am not sure how to make the bill of the hat? I figure I will make it out of fondant or gumpaste and fondant mixed, but I'm not sure how to get it to hold the shape I want. any tips?

You can cover a real one with plastic wrap, set the gumpaste one on it to dry...it'll form an authentic looking curve.
