i'm making a dome shaped cake and really nervous about getting to even. Any tips? TIA!!!
IMO it's easier to bake the cake in a bowl or the Wonder Mold pan.
Press RKT into the greased bottom of a round mixing bowl and go from there.
I agree with the mixing bowl method. I made this teapot by baking half my cake at a time in my largest non kitchen aide mixing bowl. The KA bowl would have had a hole in the top/bottom. I did shave a bit off the round end of the bottom layer. Gave it a more stable base.
