I have a person who asked me to make a butter flavored cake. Aside from using butter flavoring is there another way to get that true butter taste?
Thanks

I don't know if you are a box or scratch baker but I use Duncan Hines Golden Butter cake mix and I love the taste of it. To me it tastes like a pound cake but not as heavy and dense.

I bake from scratch and use the recipe in my Whimsical Bake House book. It's really easy, requires a lot of butter, and tastes terrific. (I'm going to make one on Monday). If you don't have the book, I'm sure you can find a recipe on line.
