How Do I Get Floating Tiers With No Plate Showing?

I have a cake to do that has roses in between the tiers but the picture shows the cakes with no plates showing (no bottom border either). How do I best achieve this look? What is the best plate and/or support system to use? The cake is going to be a 14, 10, 6. Thanks!
No I don't. THe cake is going to be covered in fondant which I hope will make for better bottomless border.
Yes, could be easier to handle being fondant, but she shows both ways! Good luck with your cake!
I use Sharon Zambito's method for "borderless" cakes! Do you have any of her DVDs?
Do you know which DVD this in on? I have a couple, hopefully it's on one I already have.
Maybe you can do SPS with 1" smaller plates.. That's what I would do.
