hi,

im looking for a green velvet cup cake recipe. i got this order for a wedding to make 200 green velvet cup cakes. honestly i have never heard of a green velvet!!!
can someone please help and give me a recipe that will jst wow the crowd!!! and what kind of an icing do I do?
i searched the cake central for it and nothing came up so that kinda worried me... so please help!!!

Try a red velvet recipe, but use green food coloring instead of red. I love Sarah's red velvet recipe in the recipe section.

Yeah. Just use your regular red velvet recipe except use green food coloring. I made blue velvet cupcakes for the fourth by using my red velvet recipe and using the same amount of blue food coloring as the recipe calls for red and it turned out great.

I've made velvet in a variety of colors! Of course red... and pink, teal, black (yuck! haha), green, blue.... emily and stsapph are right, just add the color food coloring you need!
