All of you who use SMBC on your wedding cakes, how early is too early to set out the cake? I'm looking at setting up 2 1/2 hours before the reception start. Is that too soon?
I usually do one hour, but it will really depend on the heat situation in your room/area. If it will be cool enough, 2.5 hours is ok as long as you don't have perishable fillings (as it will likely sit another 4 hours once it starts)
I'm starting to think I'll have to adjust my setup time.
