I don't understand why they are selling it the way they are. It would make more sense for them to give you a stand and everything to actually hang it that way instead of not including a chain and forcing you to figure that all out. But the look is very cool.

I also got the email I think its very cool too.... Though I was thinking how would people reach for the cupcakes ... If anyone gets it & I would love to hear their feedback

Well, you'd have to hang it so the bottom tier is practically on the table. Still, extremely eye-catching.

I took a cake class from the same place. The couple that own that shop are one of the nicest people you will meet. You will be supporting a great group.

Oh and I believe the stand will sit on the table too. At least I thought I read somewhere that it comes with a table stand also.

How likely would it be that you'd have a venue that would have a hook in the ceiling that you could hang it from? It doesn't seem very practical to me.
