I need to know how to apply ganache so my fondant lays nice on my cakes. Can anyone help me?
Hi Tracy...you're gonna love ganache under fondant...you can even use dark chocolate ganache under white fondant. I just started using it on my fondant cakes and it's wonderful. Here's the tutorials that helped me:
Will you be covering the cake with fondant, after applying the ganache? If so apply like you would apply butter cream, that how i do it. Keep it for a couple of hours to harden. i apply some sugar syrup very, very lightly all over the cake and then the fondant.
