So I bought a ton of cheesecake oil thinking it would help me make a more sturdy cream cheese icing. YUCK! I'm trying to fix the big 6 qt batch I made today...I used some oil to heighten the real cream cheese in it and I hate it! I hope I can salvage the batch. haha.

Anybody who likes it, want to buy it off me for a discount? I bought like 8 bottles because it was cheaper than buying one or two...

I was wondering how the Cheesecake Oil would taste.

Thank you for being brave and trying it out. You've saved many others in the process. icon_smile.gif

Hahaha.

I tried salvaging it by removing half the batch and adding more cream cheese and butter and sugar.

I still do not like it but my husband says he honestly thinks its good and that the customer will be fine with it.

I can see how maybe a tiny dab might taste okay in regular buttercream as a flavor enhancer but that's about IT....
