I've made this lighthouse cake and I want it to be my signature cake.

I've had a request for this cake as a 50th wedding anniversary cake because everything in the couples life has revolved around the Outer Banks.

I have a few ideas, but I"d like to see what kind of creativity we can share with this.
I appreciate any and all suggestions!
Any suggestions?

Beautiful cake. Since it is their 50th- how about adding a lot of gold touches. (gold seashells, etc.)

A couple walking around one of the tiers barefoot in the sand (brown sugar) holding hands?

I also think adding some touches of gold would be nice, as well as fondant figures to resemble the couple, and if you use the sand idea how about writing a romatic message on the sand with little footprints behind the couple.

tokazodo, I just saw this cake in your photos. It came out really cute! I love the gold touches and the couple is so adorable. Great job!

agree with everyone else...gold signifies 50 years. you could even include a mini bottle of champagne on the top!
