Why My Btttercream Oozing?!

why is this happening? I made a buttercream using shortening (not crisco,a store brand) and pwd sugar and meringue powder and now after 3 days there is a pool of oil at the bottom of it. Oh well I can't upload the photo so here is the link:

What do you mean by "oozing". Is it coming out from between your layers after you stack the cake?

Is there shortening in your bc? Is it 0 transfat?

Sorry about the triplicate post. I don't know why that happened.

Now that I see your pic, I'm not sure why that happens, but mine does the same thing after storage for a day or two. If you stir it, it works right back in and is fine....but now I'm curious and would like to know the experts answer!

no it has 2.5 transfat.
