So I made this beautiful tiara out of gumpaste. Let it dry for 4-5 days and airbrushed it in silver. Then I added my own homemade candy gems. About to leave to deliver cake and one piece of my tiara falls off.

How can this be fixed and/or how can this be avoided in the future.

I suspect that the silver painted on softened the gumpase in that spot.Sometimes when you paint on liquid to either royal icing or gumpaste it will do that.I make all my Tiaras from candy melts..quick easy and they never break.

Thank you for the tip. Do you have a special recipe you make or do you buy it?
