Hi! Does anyone has a good vanilla filling recipe (for cakes) to share, please!!!!!!!
When I have a request for a vanilla filling I use two cups whipping cream and one small box instant vanilla pudding. Whip until peaks form. Holds up wonderfully and tastes awesome. I do tell my clients that they should refrigerate the cake if it's left out longer than fours hours. I had a lady leave cupcakes out on the counter overnight and ate them the next day and she said they were fine.
1. Prepare DreamWhip according to package directons.
2. In a separate bowl, mix a box of vanilla pudding mix with just enough water to make a paste.
3. Fold into Dream Whip
4. Try not to eat it all before use in the cake.
This is one of my fav methods because there are so many great flavors of pudding from white chocolate to pistachio. It's light and airy like whipped cream without requiring refrigeration. Quick and easy too!
For the Quince cake I used Frostin Pride non dairy frosting for the whipping cream so I didn't have to refrigerate. It was good but I still like the taste of whipping cream better.
