What is the best way to keep grease from soaking through ribbon? I have tried ironing wax paper on to the ribbon and that didn't work at all. Any ideas??
I usally do sugar ribbon but I'm throwing this out there to you. Could you put packing tape on the back? I would think this would make a nice barrier between the cake/ribbon.
I wash my ribbon and then coat it with crisco. That will make the ribbon a little darker, but you do not have to deal with the grease spots.
