Hello All,
I am in search of opinions on what is the best cake flour to use with making cupcakes.

I've only ever used Softasilk (and that's only to get my RV just right). Our local groceries carry that and King Arthur but got mine at Restaurant D (SIL's dad has membership). Works well for me!

Thank you for your reply! Softasilk is the mix that I have bought, but haven't tried yet. Was also curious on which would be best bought in bulk and where to purchase.

White Lily all purpose flour is the best. It is high in protein and made from soft winter wheat. White Lily flour is mostly sold in the southeast USA. It makes a fine crumb cake.

Anybody use King Arthur? I've been thinking about trying it, because I like their AP so much.

I use King Arthur exclusively for AP, bread flour and whole wheat flour, so I would have faith in their cake flour, but I've only ever seen it for sale through their website.
