Thanks for the suggestion of keeping it cold. I will try it. The thing about royal icing is that is not exactly what I want. I cover the cupcake with the icing, making a flower out of the whole top, I hope you understand what I mean, so royal icing isn't an option. It would be something like making grass on the whole cupcake with a decorating tip, but instead, making a flower. I am finding it hard to explain. but thanks again for the suggestion
