I'm wanting to try to make some chocolate roses and found a recipe for "chocolate plastic", it's 6 oz of semi-sweet chocolate, and 1/3 cup of corn syrup...you mix and let it sit for a couple of hours...anyway, it's just a big sticky mess, anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I think your recipe has too much corn syrup or not enough chocolate.

I have a recipe that calls for 70z semi-sweet chocolate and 3-1/2 - 4tb corn syrup.

I don't know if you can save it, but try to melt more chocolate and add it in?

Thanks...I'm gonna see if I can fix it.
