a friend of mines would like me to make her a 2-tier birthday cake for her father who's turning 75 years old. she wants me to incorporate dominoes into the cake somehow and have the number 75 sticking out the top.

she mentioned having a square tier on the bottom and a circle tier on top so i was thinking maybe a 9 inch square on the bottom and a 6 inch circle cake on top...how would that look?

other than that, i dont really know how to do the rest of the cake. so i figured the great and talented decorators here on CC could lend me a helping hand and get my creative juices flowing icon_biggrin.gif

I think it would look really cool to have dominos going down the cake, as if you were playing the game (I hope you can picture what I'm saying). You could cut them out of fondant/gumpaste or you could paint them.
At the top I would do a domino with 7 dots and another with 5.
