Does anyone know the best way to keep dark colored icing from running in the humidity is there anything you can add to it to keep this from happening.

A shortening based bc will hold up better in heat and humidity than one that is all-butter or half butter and half shortening. Try Sugarshack's or IndyDebi's recipes. Both do very well in high temps. HTH!
