I am doing a cake for my son for graduation. He is planning to go into engineering, so I thought a blue print around the side of a round cake and tools of the trade made from fondant on top. How would I do the blueprint, without having to pipe with a very tiny tip. I thought rice paper could work, but do not have an edible printer. I have an airbrush, so could draw on the rice paper and then lightly airbrush, but this seems like a lot of work, and I am not sure I want rice paper all the way around the cake. Any ideas?
