I am planning to make a cake for my mum's birthday in January ^^
The reason for posting it on here this early is because it gives me time to plan and overcome little problems I have :l
Unfortunately, I have already hit a bit of a hill...My mum doesn't like butter cream icing and unfortunately the answer I get from her when i ask why is " I just don't like it" I'm not going to argue with it
So has anyone got any ideas what I can use instead?
Ganache. Stabilized whipped cream. 7 minute icing. Vintage cooked fluffy icing.
Bettercreme? A whipped topping-like product.
Or a thin layer of strained jam and fondant.
