I just found a pkg of unused fondant (opened but selaed tightly) that I had in my cupboard and was wondering what the shelf life is for fondant, can I still use it?

If it is pre made, and still soft, I'd use it.

I had some Wilton fondant for about 8 or 9 months once that was sealed and soft and I used it. It worked and tasted the same as always.
