Ive been asked to make a wedding cake similar to this, the bride emailed me this picture, but im unsure how these hearts are attatched, do you think there is some type of support in these hearts or do you think they are put on with a little RI? thanks to anyone that replies. Karen

My guess is each group of four hearts is assembled while the gumpaste (if that's what it is) is soft using water or gum glue and let dry as one piece. Then each of the groups is attached at the largest heart to the cake, probably with RI.

I would use Ri to attach. Place the ones in the back 1st and give a little time to dry. The add the ones in the front.

I think by making groups and then trying to add to the cake they will break far too easy.
