My most popular filling for white cake is raspberry. I use sleeved fillings manufactured by Dawn. Very tasty!

Raspberry does seem like the most common filling for white cakes. There are some really good fillings available at Kroger (private selection) if you don't want to make them yourself. I tried the lemon curd and it was really good. Light and summery!

My most requested filling is a vanilla mousse. One pint whipping cream and one small box of instant vanilla pudding. Holds up wonderfully.
