I am making a 3 tier cake for a baby shower. 6 in. hexagon carrot cake with cream cheese buttercream. 9 in. hexagon pound cake with ? Then i am making a 12 in. hexagon chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream as a filling and vanilla buttercream on top. I am putting turquiose fondant on it. My problem is what kind of buttercream should i use for the pound cake. I don't want to over do it?

I personally would use vanilla buttercream with the pound cake. It'll save you from have to make another flavor and it'll taste great.

Make sure your cream cheese frosting doesn't need to be refrigerated, or plan to refrigerate it if it does. And I agree, vanilla frosting for the pound cake.
