I was wondering if anyone has tried covering a cake board with candy melts? If so, how? I'm looking for an alternative to covering it in fondant. Are you able to get a smooth finish? And how many bags of candy melts does it take to cover the board? Thanks in advance!

thats a good idea, I was using royal icing, i like it because you can swirl it or make neat designs, going to have to definitly try the melts
