so...I had a tulip melt down the other day...if you say my "defeated" post. Well now I need to figure out how will these tulips now go on this cake! It's an outdoor wedding and I'm afraid that I'm going to have a drooping situation. Any suggestions? I was originally going to do a styrofoam topper with the wired tulips... Should I now do a mound of buttercream and just place? HELP!

You can use a ball of gumpaste or fondant and stick the wires (if you used them) into the semi flattened blob. Gumpaste is probably better to use as it will dry out faster. I use this method quite often and never had a problem with drooping.
